I figured that most people already know Katya's story and The Grim Reaper's interrogation, so I've decided to fully publish them.
All in all I think I every thing that I can from the first version when it comes to story and pages that I can reuse.
I'm glad you like the 3D style, I think I'll stick with it, now there is a risk to this, if something happens to the model data base and its backups I will return to 2D but I will not remake the entire comic, I will just continue in that style. But we will worry about that if or when that time comes.
The narrative on the other hand... well... it think it's more coherent because I removed the fanfiction characters, but I cant guarantee if it will remain coherent in the future, we will see.
Anyway, thank again for reading and for having the patience with me and the comic.

No, I will not restart this time, even if I find a new style or return to the old 2D style. This version is perfect.
Good thing I've changed my mind at the last minute. She was supposed to wear a dress here as well, but I've decided to keep that dress for a different character.

Так, собственно, и появился The Railroad to the Afterlife — он вырос из неудачной попытки сделать анимацию.
Есть две основные проблемы с анимацией:
1. Она очень требовательна к ресурсам — один кадр в 720p рендерился бы по пять минут. Не говоря уже о подготовке и самой анимации сцены, которые заняли бы недели.
2. Озвучка. Да, я могу со временем сделать всё остальное — анимацию, эффекты и прочее, — но вот голоса персонажей я сам создать не смогу, без найма актёров.
Использовать нейросети, чтобы заменить то, чего я не могу сделать сам, — дорого, а я и так уже вложился в модели больше, чем планировал. Бесплатные же решения… не знаю, мне кажется, это будет уже не так весело.
Но я подумываю о гибриде — что-то вроде motion comic, наполовину анимации, наполовину визуальной новеллы. Фон — статичное изображение, а персонажи по краям экрана с небольшими зацикленными движениями и субтитрами для диалогов.

I am actually planning on upgrading Bastet, if I can. I don't mind how it looks but it's a major pain to work with her expressions.
The head does not belong on the body, maybe that's why it gives the impression of a mask. I bought some feline morphs and I did create a base catgirl that can probably be use.

I have a backstory prepared for Silvie. But it will be after the next chapter or perhaps even later.
Silvie is from the Railroad of the Afterlife, she was Lilly's "feeder" and they both lived in "The Eternal Pyramid" which is very technologically advanced.
The only one who is medievalish is Crystal. And maybe Volna,.
