However, like many darknet markets, Torzon was constantly under threat from law enforcement, exit scams, and attacks from other criminal groups. Often, these markets would either be shut down following investigations or disappear as operators made off with users' funds. Afterward, many users and sellers often switched between different marketplaces, forums, and decentralized platforms, while authorities sometimes arrested key figures and tracked transactions with blockchain technology.
